Your area of responsibility:

  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of development teams including agreement on objectives at various locations
  • Establishment and management of technology clusters across location
  • Capacity Planning and responsibility of development budgets
  • Management/coordination of development projects
  • Responsibility for the creation and maintenance and remediation of design history files for existing and new products
  • Assessment of standards in terms of relevance to the product development, testing, and integration into the DHF
  • Analysis and evaluation of patents
  • Technical analysis of new product trends in the field of wound care
  • Participation in standardization committees
  • Acquisition of product concepts from the predevelopment

What we look for:

  • University degree (diploma/MSc/PhD) in Science, Engineering or similar
  • Solid knowledge of the medical devices regulation and the associated subject areas (e.g. application, design control, biocompatibility, clinical evaluation, risk management, sterilization, CE conformity, FDA, etc.).
  • Several years of experience in project management
  • Well proven leadership experience
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes (KVP), advantageous Six Sigma- Skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, experience in value analysis projects advantageous
  • Readiness to proactively embrace change
  • Willingness to challenge status quo and initiate improvement measures proactively / discuss, develop and implement solutions
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently, also on a cross-functional and global level
  • Fluent in German and English
