Your area of responsibility:

  • Establish and manage a competence center with internal and external (partner) teams for the development, transformation and support of custom digital applications at PAUL HARTMANN
  • Ensure the seamless operations of applications at agreed performance levels across global locations
  • Advise stakeholders on appropriate applications strategy in alignment with the Global IT strategy in alignment with business objectives
  • Ensure proactive collaboration with other teams within IT to ensure on time delivery of high quality of applications
  • Monitor the overall health of projects and have a risk assessment and mitigation plan in place for further communication to senior management
  • Establish a portfolio optimization mechanism to ensure appropriate resourcing for projects
  • Proactively identify and provide solutions for any strategic delivery risks and issues
  • Assess existing and new digital applications against a business value vs. investment matrix and advise stakeholders on application rationalization possibilities
  • Implement standards and best practices for software development and support process compliance activities
  • Build, promote and develop a highly engaged team that has the necessary skills to deliver on business, functional and corporate objectives
  • Support the establishment of the digital platform and technology innovation initiatives
  • Keep self and the team updated on latest technology trends

What we look for:

  • University degree in IT or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in delivery of global omnichannel digital applications, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Experience in managing global teams, service providers and partners to deliver projects
  • Several years of program management capabilities around planning and control, benefit and value management, and risk/issue management
  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior business executives
  • Proven digital strategy consulting skills with the ability to align technical proposals with business strategy
  • Strong people skills with experience of working in a global matrixed environment, ability to influence without authority in a complex stakeholder environment
  • Experience in managing teams of up to 20 direct reports in a global matrix organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English
