Your area of responsibility:

  • Develop the process automation strategy for Hartmann using existing and new business process management/API platforms (PEGA, Sharepoint, CWA etc.)
  • Manage the development and operation of business processes and APIs on Hartmann BPMS and API Management platforms at agreed performance levels across global location
  • Manage architecture and design activities for the respective platforms including the integration with external systems in alignment with the Architecture Board
  • Represent the team in business strategy discussions and act as the single point of technical contact for all business needs related to the implementation of business processes and APIs
  • Lead the overall delivery for the platforms and global rollouts with an internal/external team of technical experts, working with technical and business teams in a global matrixed organization
  • Responsible for continuously monitoring the progress of projects and having a risk assessment and mitigation plan in place for further communication to senior management
  • Build, promote and develop a highly engaged team if necessary which has the skills to deliver on business, functional and corporate objectives.
  • Implement best practices for software development and support process compliance activities
  • Identify ways to optimize available resources and deliver portfolio with maximum efficiency

What we look for:


  • University degree in IT or equivalent. BPMS and Workflow Integration tool certifications preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills in English with the ability to negotiate with external and internal stakeholders and deliver senior management presentations. German knowledge is a plus
  • Several years of business process and Service Oriented (SOA) architecture and delivery experience on PEGA 7 or equivalent commercial BPMS and/or ESB/API Management platforms
  • Experience of end to end implementation and operation of a global BPMS/Workflow platform in a multinational organization. Ability to dive into code if required!
  • Proven business process modeling skills using standard frameworks and tools
  • Strong people skills with experience of managing teams in a global matrix organization
  • Experience of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development
  • Experience in managing international IT projects with global suppliers
