Your area of responsibility:

  • Support the Plant Manager to build a factory where all employees, top-down, are actively engaged and committed to deliver the business objectives through a “zero loss” mindset
  • Build Top - Down Lean Management capabilities across the Plant according to COMS Standard. This has to be reflected in a continuous development of the COMS skill matrix of the plant
  • Mentor health check plant-assessments to guide in each step the Lean-Transformation
  • Coach Top-Down to efficiently implement Hoshin catchball for KPI engagement, daily management systems for integration of lean methods into daily work, Kata for continuous improvement coaching  
  • Serve and help as a valued facilitator for the Plant: develop a relationship of trust, confidence, credibility, and commitment to the Lean transformation establishing an integrated, seamless working relationship 
  • Continuously identify and engage lean accelerators and high potentials into the lean transformation purpose and the GLN development

What we look for:

  • Desired (not a must): University Degree: Business Administration, Engineering
  • Minimum:  Meister / Professional Degree
  • Demonstrated capability to learn and develop Lean Philosophy, Leadership behaviors, Process Improvement and Management Systems; using the following tools as vehicles to practice and learn: A3, Hoshin Kanri, PDCA, Visual Management, Standard Work, TWI, SMED, VSM, Heijunka, Kanban, TPM, and Problem Solving
  • Operational, hands on experience, especially with Lean implementations.
  • Applied systemic thinker. Ideally someone who has had line management experience and who has deep expertise on how to use Lean models, tools and methodologies with the unique purpose of developing capabilities
  • Capability to inspire and envision with examples from other PH manufacturing plants or benchmark practices to help the plant to build Lean capabilities with a high level of ownership and autonomy
  • Desired: 3 years in Operational Positions: leading groups of +15 people in processes of cultural transformations and experience of +3 years in having developed world-class practices in Operations Management
  • Fluent in German and English
