Your area of responsibility:

  • The main objective for the Category Manager for Marketing is to effectively manage the strategic procurement process by developing effective supply programs that decrease total cost of ownership
  • You are responsible for developing sourcing strategies, leading the competitive bid and supplier selection process, negotiating with suppliers, and managing supplier relationships, including contract development and administration
  • Implement category actions and changes based on market dynamics
  • Identify opportunities to lower costs through negotiation strategies and product alternatives and respond to internal customer needs
  • Prepares and present reports to senior management as necessary as related to projects, pricing, achievement of business objectives
  • Interacts and negotiates collectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers as necessary
  • Participation and act as a facilitator on a cross-functional team
  • Run successful suppliers qualification process

What we look for:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in category management and procurement
  • Experience in sales, marketing
  • Proven record of successful vendor relations
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
  • Winning hearts and challenging status quo attitude
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and database management programs
  • SAP knowledge preferred
